Helplessly, she faces her fate, as Carabosse appears to her with a spinning wheel and pricks her finger with the spindle. However, since this prophecy is foretold, it finds a way to become true. Instead of obeying, the cook hides the children and serves livestock. The story ends with the king marrying Talia and living happily ever after.
